Bhutan Women’s Rights Watch is an independent, non-partisan civic initiative dedicated to strengthening awareness, accountability, and protection of women connected to Bhutan.

We advocate for:

• Transparent and conflict-free institutional processes

• Respect for due process and constitutional protections

• Survivor-informed public dialogue

• Public understanding of legal rights

• Responsible digital advocacy and awareness

We believe accountability protects people and transparency strengthens institutions.

Why This Matters

Bhutan’s legal framework contains important protections on paper. However, the true measure of justice lies not only in written law, but in consistent, transparent, and impartial implementation.

When matters involve power imbalance or public office, institutional safeguards must be visibly fair and conflict-free to maintain public trust.

Strong systems protect both due process and survivor dignity.
